E-mail Marketing has been around forever and for good reason.

It is most effective way to connecting with peoples and convert them into our customers.

E-mail has a long history of stability. The first promotional E-mail campaign was sent in 1978 to a total of 400 peoples. And it is growing since.

Today we will discuss about the entire process of setting up your e-mail marketing funnel that you can generate leads and sales.

What is E-mail Marketing:-

E-mail Marketing is the very highly effective digital marketing module of sending emails to customers and to those who are interested.

It is the best process to convert your prospects into your regular customers and turn one time buyer into your regular customer/loyal customer.

Importance of E-mail Marketing:-

E-mail is the most effective way to nurture leads and turn them into customers despite the rise of Social Media and unsolicited spam, E-mail.

It is best from other Social Media Platform because your Social Media account could be suspend at any time even without notice you and due to this you will loose your Fans/ Fans.

It is very underdog skill. If you use it properly it can give you up to 4300% ROI (Return on Investment). ROI is nothing but if you invest 1 Rupees, you will get 4300 rupees return.

As we are adapting Western Culture very fast so it is very important to invest in E-mail Marketing. Western Peoples check their E-mails regularly as compare to Indians. So in India you can face some  difficulties especially in small cities (not in metro cities).

E-Mail Marketing v/s Social Media Marketing:-

Most of the Peoples think that E-mail Marketing is dead but E-mail Marketing is still going strong today.

According to 2018 based data, E mail Marketing is still most effective and ranked channel as compare to Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and SEO.

When it comes to connect peoples there is no channel wider reach than E-mail. Let’s take an example of it. When we signup for website, create account on Facebook and Twitter they ask us for our E-mail. They even notify us about our account activities(like who tagged us) via E-mails.

If we send notice or post to clients via E-mail it will shown to our 90% recipients but if we use facebook it will shown to only 2% of our fans and if we want to see it to our all fans we have to pay to facebook. Then they will show the ads to our own fans in their news feed.

If we send an  E-mail campaign to 1000 fans, 900 fans will recieve e-mail in their inbox. Alternatively if we post an update to our 10000 fans only about 200 of them will even have a chance of seeing it in their news feed.

On the other hand we get E-mail subscribers because at some point they give us their E-mail or register because they are interested. It means they give us permission to send them E-mails. But now think about Facebook Ads, Did they ask you to show them? NO…

E-mails have their very strict Laws and Regulations around SPAM laws.

E-mail Conversions:-

If we talk about conversions there is no more powerful channel than E-mail.

Most marketers are laser focused on driving conversions. The ultimate goal for marketers is to turn potential customers into paying customers.

The average click through rate (CTR) of email campaign is about 3% of their total recipients whereas the average CTR from tweet is around 0.5%.

It means we will get 6x more traffic to you as compare to twitter. As we Discuss above that 90% subscriber will get E-mail.

By survey conduct by monetate, 4.24% of visitors from e-mail marketing buy something whereas 2.49% of visitors from search engines and only 0.59% from social media buy something.

E-mail Communication:-

For many peoples social network are a personal form of communication used to keep up to date with their friends and family. When peoples login their accounts they are likely there to see photos and updates from their family members and friends.

On the other hand, E-mail is a much more professional medium and people expact to recieve details and details and information and services through that channel.

Studies show 72% people prefer to recieve promotional content through E-mail, as compared to social media where only 17% peoples prefer.

E-mail Marketing

E-mail is an open Platform:-

Businessmen are investing in Social Media Marketing on Facebook, Twitter. And as I told you that Facebook upgrade it’s algorithm that tells us about the reduce ammount of followers who will see our post. If we want to show our post to all of our fans we have to pay for it to facebook. Then they will run facebook ads in front of our own fans.

By this algorithm 98% of brand followers will never see the post in their news feed. And Twitter is also moving to this as they announce that they are going to update their terms and conditions.

The problem with Facebook and Twitter is they are controlled by the Third Parties. Whereas E-mail controlled by the one particular Entity. It is an open platform.
